Now I have something to tell you. In Canada, when you buy something, you have to pay two taxes (for the nation and for the province). And if you go to a restaurant, you should give a tip (usually 15%). But if you buy cookies (more than 6 pieces), you don't have to pay tax because cookies are necessary food for the Canadian .Canadian cookies were so big and so delicious. It is good information for you, isn't it?
In terms of English, I had no problem at the Immigration and restaurants. I spoke with people at the hotels and a bus driver in English.What do you think of this trip?

In the middle of October, I went to Canada with my friend, Gou-ko. We arrived in Prince Edward Island at night. Next morning, we were so happy and the scenery surrounding our hotel was so lovely!
Now do you know “Anne of Green Gables (赤毛のアン)”? Anne grew up in this island. Of course we participated in an Anne tour. And we were very surprised because around Green Gables (Anne's house), there were Lover's Lane (恋人の小道), Haunted Wood (お化けの森) and Matthew's warehouse. These looked so real! In the house, too. In Anne's room, there was a dress that Matthew had given her. It was so cute Other things, for example “gooseberry wine,” looked so real, too.

Then we enjoyed ourselves at some other places. We tried even Anne's costume on! On the street, we could see beautiful scenery with autumn tints. It was a season of red and yellow leaves. It was so fantastic. We spent four days in the island.
Then we went to Niagara Falls. We stayed in Canadian side, but we went to American side too. American side was so beautiful and there weren’t many people in comparison with Canadian side. So we tried “Maid of the Mist” that was a boat to experience the Falls.We had to wear a raincoat when we got on the boat. At first the boat went by American Fall. We felt mist our faces. It was so fun. Then by Canadian Fall, we felt rain and the boat shook. Some children cried. But we were so excited! It was a wonderful adventure. We enjoyed very much. It was a good experience for us.
